Kristine Stevens
Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner

Kristine has been a Registered Nurse since 2008 with extensive history and experience in Trauma/Emergency Room, Critical care, Oncology, Geriatrics and Hospice. Kristine started in healthcare in 2003 when her first job was in activities playing Bingo /games with the long-term care residents and Alzheimer’s patients. While working with the residents, she was able to see the care and compassion these residents needed and decided to obtain a CNA certification. While in CNA positions at hospital, she found other roles she could fulfill such as telemetry technician and Unit Secretary. She then got on the waiting list for nursing school and obtained her EMT while on the waiting list.

Originally from Aurora Colorado, Kristine has also lived in Manhattan Kansas, Pueblo Colorado, and El Paso Texas. Kristine came to Yuma in 2017 as a travel nurse in the Emergency Room, and Yuma is where she stayed after meeting her Husband Ken. Together they live in the Foothills of Yuma, and have a son Kade, who was 15 weeks early but doing fantastically! Kristine prides herself on providing specialized care to ages 13+, with a passion for Gerontology and Palliative Care.
